  • Musical Instruments. Hungry for music takes most instruments in any condition and offers them to young musicians; hungryformusic.org. Guitars 4 Vets welcomes guitars and related gear for its program helping veterans in need; guitars4vets.org.
  • Formal Wear. Brides Across America accepts wedding dresses and special-occasion gowns for military and first responder brides; bridesacrossamerica.com. Becca’s Closet provides prom dresses for high schoolers; beccascloset.org.
  • Shoes. Sole4Souls gives new and gently used footwear to people worldwide; soles4sols.org. One World Running sends nearly new athletic shoes to needy athletes; oneworldrunning.com.
  • Phones. Phones given to cell phones for soldier’s fund calls for service members overseas; cellphonesforsoldiers.com. Donations to Medic Mobile support health care in six countries; medicmobile.org.
