Terrorist groups operating under different names: Rashid
ISLAMABAD: Information Minister Pervez Rashid said on Thursday that the government was determined to eliminate terrorism and it was responsible for providing security to media.
Speaking at a meeting of the National Assembly’s Standing Committee for Information, he said that the government would fulfill its responsibility by providing security to the media. The minister said that journalists would be given life insurance besides security.
He said that terrorist groups were operating under different names but the government was taking measures including talks to cope with the menace of terrorism.
