INP

GARHI KHUDA BAKHSH: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) senior leader Syed Khurshid Ahmad Shah has said that dictatorship-like democracy is not acceptable to his party.
Addressing the public gathering in connection with the death anniversary ofparty founder Zulfikar Ali Bhutto at Garhi Khuda Bakhsh on Friday, Shah, who is also the leader of the opposition in the National Assembly, said that though an elected government is ruling the country, it seemed the government was a successor of a dictator.
He said that the PPP had made sacrifices more than other political party has made for restoration and strengthening of democracy.
He alleged that the government was planning to deprive thousands of employees of their livelihood through its anti-masses policy of privatisation. He said that the PPP would oppose the privatisation process.
He said that the government was making tall claims of restoring peace in the country but that it was also trying to make thousands of people jobless which would further worsen the already deteriorated law and order situation.
