Nawaz will have to bear brunt of govt-army tension: Shaikh Rasheed
LAHORE: Chief of Awami Muslim League (AML), Shaikh Rasheed Ahmed Sunday said Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif will have to face the consequences of ‘tension between the government and armed forces’.
Talking exclusively to Geo News here, Shaikh Rasheed alleged that Nawaz Sharif deliberately appointed a man as defence minister who is disliked by the military.
The AML Chief predicted that the current year could bring hazards to the incumbent government.
He said he had worked out a strategy in collaboration with Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) for staging a protest demonstration on May 11.
