PM Sharif accepts COAS invitationISLAMABAD: Prime Minister, Nawaz Sharif will grace the Passing Out Parade of the PMA long course scheduled to be held at Pakistan Military Academy, Kakul on April 19.
On the occasion, the PM is expected to have a one-on-one meeting with Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif and to discuss the internal and external security and other issues.
Sources confirmed to the Geo News that PM Sharif accepted the invitation extended by the COAS to attend the upcoming event. It is seen as a rare development, as such an invitation has been extended to a Prime Minister after a very long time.
The sources further said that a meeting is also expected between the PM and COAS even before April 19.
