Shahbaz ‘conspired’ against the PM: Aitzaz

ISLAMABAD: PPP central leader Senator Aitzaz Ahsan has said that it seems from the recent sit-in at D Chowk, Islamabad that “junior Mian” has hatched a conspiracy against “senior Mian”, a reference to the Sharif brothers.
“It is still beyond our comprehension how the government is running. Interior Minister Nisar was earlier adamant on launching an operation against demonstrators in the dharna and now he says no agreement has been reached with its participants. On the other hand other ministers held meetings and negotiations with the leaders of dharna demonstrators.
It seems the younger brother, Mian Shahbaz Sharif, has hatched a conspiracy against older brother, Mian Nawaz Sharif. The conspiracy between the two brothers will be exposed soon,” he said this in a statement issued on Thursday. Aitzaz asked how could be possible that the sit-in demonstrators reached parliament after traveling the distance of 14 kilometres. He demanded Interior Minister Nisar, Finance Minister Ishaq Dar and Railways Minister Khawaja Saad Rafiq present their stance in parliament on the sit-in.
