MULTAN: Railways Minister Khawaja Saad Rafique on Saturday called upon the Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan to initiate talks to determine the terms of references (TORs) of Judicial Commission (JC) to probe the allegations levelled in Panama leaks. Talking to media persons at the residence of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader and party ticket holder from provincial assembly constituency PP-1994, Malik Anwar Ali in Multan, Saad Rafique said that investigations of JC will bring the realties before the masses and PTI’s sit-in in this connection will be of no use. He alleged that criticism on judges was an attempt to impede the constitution of Judicial Commission (JC), politicising the issue and misguiding the masses. The minister said that reaction of Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leader Chaudhry Aitzaz Ahsan over the Panama leaks was beyond his party line. He said that PTI chief should demonstrate political acumen rather hurling threats of staging sit-in, adding earlier, he staged a sit-in for 126 days but the ultimately issue were resolved through dialogues. Saad said that if matter is settled between the ruling and opposition parties on formation of JC then entire issue will be brought before the masses within next two months. He said that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif is in London for medical treatment. After getting well, he will return back and resume his responsibilities, he added. To a question about travelling of Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar and PTI hief Imran Khan through same flight to London, the minister said that it was mere a coincident and not preplanned act. Responding to a question, he said, “We always respect the members of opponent political parties as we are in differences with them on the basis of ideology and there is no any personal grudge.” He said that PML-N activists are precious assets of the party and leadership would stand by them and never let them to suffer at the hands of opponents.
