Nawaz afraird of making commission on Panama leaks: Sarwar

LAHORE - Former Punjab governor and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Chaudhary Sarwar said on Tuesday that it is not PTI but Pakistan Muslim League-N which is pursuing the politics of ‘Main na Manu’.

He questioned why the rulers were afraid of forming commission led by the chief Justice of Pakistan. He said that it was democratic and constitutional right to stage protest against corruption and looting.

While speaking to different delegations of the PTI in his office, he said “Rulers’ policies are biggest threat to their government,” he said, adding that the worst load-shedding in the country has confirmed the incompetence of the rulers.

The former governor said that the PTI does not need to hatch conspiracies against incumbents, rather rulers’ corruption and looting were enough for their destruction. He said time had come to hold rulers accountable.

Sarwar said whenever the rulers’ corruption and loot was exposed they tried to hide behind democracy. He said PTI had been raising its voice against corruption from the day first.

He said if rulers want them not to protest they should stop the corrupt practices, adding that the PTI won’t sit as silent spectator and would protest till the elimination of corruption from the country. He said those who made claims of ending load-shedding in six months had been exposed before masses.
