Police, Rangers to jointly probe Korangi firing incident: DG Rangers
KARACHI: Director General, Sindh Rangers, Major General Bilal Akbar on Wednesday said police and the paramilitary force will jointly investigate into the firing incident in Korangi which claimed lives of seven policemen today.
Talking to media persons during his visit to the crime site, Bilal Akbar appealed to the people to share with the Rangers any information they have in connection with today’s violent incident in Korangi. He said full security will be provided to the people coming up with information.
He said those who perpetrated the crime as well as the masterminds behind it will be brought to book.
The DG Rangers said a sustainable action continues against the violent elements.
He said investigation into the Koragni firing incident is already underway and it would be premature to say anything at this point.
