KARACHI – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader and Member of Sindh Assembly Syed Hafeezuddin Kamal along with his followers on Friday joined Mustaf Kamal-led Pak Sarzameen Party (PSP).

Hafeez announced resignation from the party of Imran Khan and the Sindh Assembly membership. He said that Karachi had been hijacked by mafia as institutions were not working and local rights of authority had not been transferred to lower level. He also said that the opposition in the Sindh Assembly had no value.

- Imran under inexperienced ‘friends’ –

Hafeez said that he has joined PSP because party founder Mustafa Kamal has done PhD in mayorship as well as in Karachi-related problems, adding that only Kamal can resolve the very problems. He expressed his views about PTI and said that he thought the party would bring possible change in Pakistan, but PTI Chairman Imran Khan was surrounded by inexperienced friends. On the occasion, Mustafa Kamal warmly welcomed Hafeez and his followers.

He also said that he was thankful to Hafeez for joining his newly-formed party over single invitation while other parties were losing their own seats. He also said that he welcomes everyone who were watching him at home and were not ready to take any step.
