PPP will be in power if setup changes: Wasan
KARACHI: Provincial Minister Manzoor Wasan said on Monday that there was talk of democracy being in danger and midterm elections taking place.
During a news conference at his office, Wasan predicted that if there was a change in the present setup the PPP would be next in power. Wasan said August was an important month and the situation would worsen prior to the Senate elections.
The provincial minister told reporters that former president Asif Ali Zardari would play a major role in resolving matters this month.
Wasan added that it was not wise to impose Article 245 in Islamabad and advised the Nawaz government to not be stubborn. He said that Imran Khan’s demands were not incorrect.
Wasan also predicted that Pervez Musharraf would leave the country before August 14.
