Imran tells Nisar its too late to retract from long march

ISLAMABAD: Federal Interior Minister, Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan here on Monday made telephonic contact with the Pakistan Tehreek-e- Insaf (PTI) Chief Imran Khan, Geo News reported.

Sources said that the two leaders discussed PTI’s announced ‘Azadi March’ on August 14 in Islamabad.

It is believed that the interior minister tried to persuade Imran Khan to hold talks instead of staging the long march citing grave law and order threats.

While the PTI Chief Imran Khan politely told Nisar Khan that he has all the respect and regard for him, but as he has already announced Azadi March, it was a bit too late for him to back out.
