Ishaq Dar on phone invites MQM Chief to attend NSC on Saturday
KARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain has said that it was the need of the hour to resolve all political issues through process of dialogues and mutual understanding.
Talking to Federal Minister for Finance Ishaq Dar via telephone he said that political differences must not lead to a point from where it would become difficult to return said a statement issued by MQM here on Friday.
The statement said that the MQM chief discussed overall political and economic situation of the country with the Federal Minister.
Ishaq Dar extended invitation to the MQM for attending the National Security Conference being held on Saturday. The Minister said that under the directions of the Prime Minister the Federal Government wanted to resolve all issues politically by holding dialogues and the National Security Conference was a step in that direction the statement added.
The Minister also expressed gratitude to Altaf Hussain for the arrival of the MQM delegation for meeting the Prime Minister and the principled stance taken by the MQM it said.
Ishaq Dar praised the role of the MQM and Altaf for promoting democracy strengthening of the parliamentary institutions and for upholding of the Constitution the statement concluded.Courtesy www.thenews.com.pk
