Shaikh Rasheed anticipates key decision from PPP, MQM
ISLAMABAD: Awami Muslim League Chief Shaikh Rasheed Ahmed on Wednesday predicted that government will hold mid-term polls sooner or later, adding the Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif took too long to announce formation of 3-member commission to probe PTI’s rigging allegations.
Talking to Geo News here, Shaikh Rasheed said the courts will have to take some important decisions in the coming days while government will have to organize mid-term elections.
Mr. Rasheed said Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf will bring to use its ‘card’ if PM Nawaz Sharif refuses to step down as the chief executive of the country.
He anticipated a key decision from Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) and Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM).
