Unprovoked Indian shelling at Sialkot villages condemned
PPI

SIALKOT – Former federal minister Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan strongly condemned the unprovoked shelling of the Indian Border Security Forces (BSF) on innocent people along the working boundary in Sialkot villages.

She said that this large scale of ceasefire violation by Indian armed forces reflected Indian war aggression against Pakistan and its people. No world organisation including the United Nations has yet taken any notice of the Indian shelling on Sialkot villages and killings of the innocent and peace-loving citizens, cattle and their houses as well.

Sialkot District Bar Association (DBA) President Advocate Shahid Mir also urged the world community to take stern action against India for its mounting war aggression against Pakistan. MNA Armughan Subhani expressed solidarity with the victims, and said that the Indian forces again targeted the civilian population when they were sleeping on the roof tops and in courtyards of their houses.

According to the senior officials of the Chenab Rangers, the Indian forces used light and heavy machine guns and also fired several mortar shells, as most of these mortar shells fell in the fields and could not explode there.
