‘Referee’ can come if crisis not resolved: ex-minister
Rehman hopes Zardari's efforts will work
INPKARACHI – Former Interior Affairs minister Rehman Malik has said that 'referee' can come if the current political tension is not defused soon.
Talking to journalists here at the Jinnah International Airport on Monday, Rehman said that the tension, created after the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf and the Pakistan Awami Thehreek sit-ins in Islamabad from August 14, must be resolved according to constitution and law.
He lauded Asif Zardari's role in the situation, saying he came to Pakistan for resolving the issue and he continuously contacted key politicians in this regard. "I hope Asif Zardari's efforts will work," he said.
