Army Chief, PM discuss political impasse
ISLAMABAD: Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif held a meeting with Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and exchanged views on political impasse, Geo News reported.
PM Nawaz and General Raheel agreed to adopt essential steps for resumption of dialogues with protesting parties -- Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT).
They also agreed to resolve the issue in the greatest national interest through negotiations.
