Amir Muqam slams Imran for failing to deliver on promises

PESHAWAR: Advisor to Prime Minister on federal departments in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Amir Muqam criticized PTI chief Imran Khan for failing to deliver on promises made to the people of KP.

Addressing a rally in Peshawar, the PML-N representative said that the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa had now seen the true face of Imran Khan.

"What became of the promises of change and elimination of corruption?" he asked.

Amir Muqam said that development projects enacted by Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif were there for all to see. He claimed that after Mansehra and Lakki Marwat, the public had shown their support for PML-N in Peshawar as well. He thanked the people of Peshawar for making successful PML-N's rally and claimed that the party would hold a historic public gathering in the near future.

Criticizing Imran Khan, he said that the PTI chief had appointed a minister who had himself failed four times each in the Matriculation and Intermediate examinations. He also assailed the party's development projects and said that the billion tree Tsunami was nowhere to be seen in the province.

"PTI's own members are claiming the their government is indulging in corruption," he said. Amir Muqam also questioned the use of police in PTI's rally and said that when the PTI chief arrived in Peshawar, a large amount of police were deployed at the rally.
