Families of Pakistanis stranded in Saudi Arabia receive cheques

ISLAMABAD: The families of Pakistanis stranded in Saudi Arabia have received cheques from the government as financial assistance.Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif had approved a total amount of Rs 500 Million - and Rs 50,000 for each family - to be distributed amongst the families of ten thousand stranded Pakistanis.
The PM Secretariat staffers and Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resources Development Ministries distributed the cheques among the families of stranded Pakistanis. The affected people have thanked the government for their assistance.
