MQM distances itself completely from ToR committee
KARACHI: The Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) distanced itself completely from the Terms of Reference parliamentary committee on Wednesday.
According to details, the MQM, which was a part of the parliamentary committee tasked to formulate the Terms of Reference of the judicial commission which would hold an inquiry into the disclosures of the Panama Papers, distanced themselves from the committee completely.
According to an official handout from the political party, an unannounced ban has been imposed on all political activities of MQM.
The previous day, Leader of the Opposition Khursheed Shah and Ishaq Dar had met and agreed on the formation of a new law to probe the Panama Leaks.
