Government to go home in 2016: Sheikh Rasheed

RAWALPINDI: Awami Muslim League chief Sheikh Rasheed Ahmad said on Wednesday that the government will be sent packing this year.

Speaking at Geo News' morning show 'Geo Pakistan', Sheikh Rasheed said that all decisions will be taken within a matter of thirty days and that this would be the year when the Nawaz Sharif-led government would be sent packing. Sheikh Rasheed revealed that he had met PTI chief Imran Khan the previous day and had advised him to marry after the success of his movement.

He also criticised federal ministers and claimed that they were taking their families without permission to foreign countries on trips. He also spoke about PTI's rally on August 13 and said that he had advised Naeem-ul-Haque to conduct the rally on August 14. However, some people interfered and ruined everything, said Sheikh Rasheed. He said the PTI chief was an innocent person.

Rasheed disclosed that he used to have breakfast at 7 am previously but now he has changed the time to 6 am. Ever since I became a senior citizen, I decided to change my habits, he said.
