Brahumdagh, Harbiyar Marri and others getting funds from India: Zehri

QUETTA: Chief Minister Sanaullah Zehri said on Thursday that he meant it when he said that Indian intelligence agency RAW was behind terrorist attacks in Balochistan and that Harbiyar Marri, Brahumdagh Bugti and others were obtaining funds from India.

Addressing an event, the Balochistan Chief Minister said that when he placed blame for terrorist activities in the province on RAW, he stated it with full responsibility.

"A serving Indian naval officer was arrested from Balochistan," he said. Zehri was also critical of separatists in Balochistan when he questioned the objectives of those who wanted to free Balochistan.

"Do you want to liberate Balochistan and then hand it over to Hindus for slavery?" he questioned.

He also placed blame on terrorist elements and criticised them severely by saying that for the sake of some money from Hindus, these elements martyred their own brothers. Zehri said that people in Balochistan had not come out for the sake of anyone but because they wanted to register their protest against Modi's statements. He issued a stern warning to militants and terrorists who were holed up inside grounds.

"We will win the war that India has initiated in Balochistan," claimed Zehri. "Wherever these terrorists might be, we will drag them out from their holes," he added.

He read out the resolution against Modi's recent statements on Balochistan and registered his strong protest against it.

Zehri said that Balochistan was a part of Pakistan and was functioning under a democratic government. He alleged that rebels in Balochistan obtained funds from India.

"We are inheritors of this land since 500 years," claimed Sanaullah Zehri. "Our ancestors sided with Pakistan," he added.

Sanaullah Zehri said that his father, brother and son had been stolen from him. Hence, he said that he would never surrender to terrorists nor accept defeat against them. He said that Brahumdagh Bugti, Harbiyar Marri and others were obtaining funds from India.
