Salahuddin’s brother murdered in targeted attack: MQM

HYDERABAD: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Deputy Convener Dr. Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui on Saturday claimed that the murder of Ghazi Salahuddin’s brother, Zia Salahuddin, was result of a targeted attack.

Talking to media men here, Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui said that Sindh ministers did not even try to gather information in connection with the killing of Zia Salahuddin from his brother Ghazi Salahuddin.

He said, “it was the responsibility of the provincial government to immediately arrest and expose the killers of Zia Salahuddin.”

On the occasion, another MQM leader Babar Ghauri held Chief Minister Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah responsible for the killing of Zia Salahuddin, adding workers of his party were being murdered ‘extra-judicially’.

Ghauri advised the Sindh government to confess its failure in its duty to provide protection to the citizens.
