Several forces out to tear Pakistan apart: Defense Minister
SIALKOT: Defense Minister Khawaja Asif on Saturday said that a number of forces were out to tear Pakistan into pieces, claiming that they don’t want the country to be recognized as an ‘atomic state’.
Addressing industrialists at Sambrial Dry Port here, the Defense Minister said Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) wants a Pakistan where people could breathe without ventilators and can make its own decisions without having to depend on any dictation.
He claimed that government would be able to overcome loadshedding to a good extent by 2017, adding, on the directives of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, his team was directing special attention towards steering the nation out of the energy crisis.
