Faisalabad rejects PTI’s shut down call: Sanaullah

LAHORE: Former law minister Punjab, Rana Sanaullah on Saturday claimed that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) supremo Imran Khan lied about transporters’ support to his party’s shut down call.

According to a statement issued here, Rana Sanaullah said the ricketer-turned politician Imran Khan should realize that nobody wants to lend his support to the PTI Chief.

“People of Faisalabad have rejected the shut down call of PTI,” he said, assuring protection to the business community from the provincial government.

Sanaullah warned that strict action would be taken against those who violate law.

Meanwhile, the administration of Faisalabad has banned pillion ridding for two days – December 7 and 8 – in the wake of the shutter-down strike call from Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).

The administration took the above decision as part of a security plan to avert any untoward incident.
