Imran's plan 'C', to spread anarchy in the country: Rasheed

ISLAMABAD: Imran Khan’s plan ‘A’ was to attack democracy, plan ‘B’ was to law siege to democracy and plan ‘C’ is to spread anarchy in the country, said Federal Information Minister Pervaiz Rasheed while addressing a press conference on Monday.

Rasheed said, PTI unleashed the same bullying tactics it had used in Islamabad’s red-zone. The minister added that PTI supporters wielding sticks attacked businesses and shops in Faisalabad and blocked roads for traffic by burning tyres on the streets.

The Federal Minister told journalists, that Imran Khan’s call to shut down cities across Pakistan has met with resistance from opposition factions, adding that Imran Khan should accept that his call for shutdown did not bring the city to a grinding halt but in fact gave way to violence.

Rasheed said, businesses and educational institutions remained open in Faisalabad adding that traffic flow was normal this morning. The Information Minister concluded that Imran’s plan ‘A’ and ‘B’ have failed and therefore he is resorting to plan ‘C’ calling for shutting down cities and the people of Faisalabad have rejected his call.
