Ayaz Sadiq to challenge Election Tribunal decision
LAHORE: Counsel for National Assembly Speaker Ayaz Sadiq on Sunday announced that he would challenge the Election Tribunal’s decision of opening up of ballot bags.
He said that Imran Khan’s application about rigging in NA-122 was unconstitutional as he was not a candidate from the constituency.
Barrister Asjad Saeed said that he would request Imran Khan not to prevent him from moving the Lahore High Court against Election Tribunal’s decision.
He said that he had confidence in the tribunal but courts should decide the matters on the basis of evidence instead of desires.
