CM says politics of violence is disastrous for Pakistan’s developmentINP
LAHORE - Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif on Monday alleged Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan of destroying the economy of Pakistan by carrying out protests day by day.
In a statement, he stated that sit-ins have been started at the time when Pakistan Army is busy in killing militants in an operation. However, the politics of violence is disastrous for Pakistan’s development. He further vowed to protect the lives and property of the citizens by keeping it as his first priority.
While on the other hand, Punjab government Spokesman Zaeem Qadri said that the few activists cannot deprive the rights of hundreds of thousands of people. Moreover, Adviser on Health Khawaja Salman Rafique said that the peaceful protest of the PTI has been exposed by burning tyres and blocking the roads.
