PAT stages rally against tragic incident of Peshawar

MULTAN - Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) on Sunday staged a rally against the heinous incident of Peshawar and demanded the government to extend operation Zarb-e-Azb to other parts of Pakistan.

Scores of people, including women and children participated in the rally which started from Chowk Ghanta Ghar and culminated at Major Jahanzeb Shaheed chowk. The rally was led by PAT Zonal Nazim Mufti Irshad Hussain Saeedi, Dr Zubair A Khan, PAT District President Yasir Shah, Rao Muhammad Arif and other leaders.

They strongly condemned the incident and demanded deterent punishment to terrorists. They also called for imposing ban on leaders of banned organisations. They also appreciated lifting of moratorium on death penalty. The local leadership of PAT hailed the role of Pakistan Army in eliminating terrorists.
