MPA Kanwal dies of brain hemorrhage
LAHORE – Kanwal Nauman, member of the Punjab Assembly and a renowned television actress, on Monday died of a brain hemorrhage at her residence after a brief illness in Gulberg.
Kanwal, a leader of the Pakistan Muslim League-N, was immediately shifted to the Jinnah Hospital where she is under treatment. According to doctors, the hemorrhage occurred due to high blood pressure. A team of senior doctors is conducting a detailed examination of the provincial lawmaker. Kanwal became member of the provincial assembly on a reserved seat.
