People's blood shed to make ‘failed protest’, successful: Pervez
Minister says will go to any extent to foil attempts by some political parties to cash issue of PIA

ISLAMABAD - Minister for Information and Broadcasting Pervez Rashid said on Wednesday that blood of innocent protestors was shed in Karachi to make the ‘failed protest’ of Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) employees, successful.

Talking to newsmen in Islamabad on Wednesday, Pervez said that some political parties want to use Karachi incident for their own gain. He said that they will not let anyone play dirty politics on the dead bodies of the victims and will go to any extend in order to foil attempts by some political parties to cash the issue of PIA.

He said the representatives were told that the decision to find a strategic partner is being deferred for six months. The government would assess the situation during this period and then take a decision.

“Patriotic employees of PIA were cooperating and flights were proceedings as per schedule.” he claimed.
