Senate elections on March 3rd: ECP

ISLAMABAD – Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) on Monday announced that the elections for Senate seats will be held on March 3rd.
According to the election commission, the candidates can submit their nomination papers on 12th and 13th February whereas the scrutiny of the papers will be held on 16th and 17th February. The candidates can withdraw their nominations till February 25. The ballot papers have been printed.
The electoral process for federal capital and the Federally Administrated Tribal Areas (FATA) will take place in the National Assembly whereas the vacant seats of the Senate in provinces will be filled with voting at respective provincial assemblies.
