Arsalan is a ‘puppet’ in the hands of political rivals: PTI
*Party suggests ECP not to consider application of ‘corrupt’ son of ex-CJP

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Central Information Secretary Shireen Mazari has said that Arsalan Iftikhar, the son of former chief justice of Pakistan, is a corrupt man, urging the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) not to consider his application for further action against PTI Chairman Imran Khan.
According to a press release on Monday, Mazari said that the nation was fully aware of character of Arsalan Iftikhar and added that after resigning the vice chairmanship of Board of Investment Balochistan, the corrupt Arsalan Iftikhar had lost his senses and he was propagating against the PTI chairman.
She further suggested that Arsalan Iftikhar should concentrate to investigate the share of his father in poll-rigging during general elections of May 11, 2013. She further added the entire nation respects PTI Chairman Imran Khan’s contributions to welfare of society and the country as well.
Mazari said the PTI was the second largest political party and stands firm on its stance that during last general elections, the mandate of the masses was stolen by massive rigging. She condemned the move taken by Arsalan Iftikhar against PTI Chairman Imran Khan.
She said that political rivals of the PTI were not happy with the popularity of Imran Khan, so they were making propaganda against him and his party and claimed that Arsalan Iftikhar was playing like a “puppet” in the hands of PTI’s political rivals.
