APP

ISLAMABAD: Chief Coordinator of Pakistan Muslim League (N) Siddiqul Farooq said Imran Khan should seek unconditional apology from the nation for announcing to hang policemen with his own hands and celebrate ‘day of independence’ as ‘day of chaos’.
Addressing a press conference Siddiqul Farooq said Imran Khan should deposit Rs 380 million without delay in account of Shaukat Khanum Trust as he promised earlier.
“If Shaukat Khanum was alive today, she would have clearly asked her only son to refrain from creating chaos on the day of independence because she had seen those people who created Pakistan by crossing rivers of blood”. She knew the value of Independence of Pakistan on August 14, he remarked.
Creating chaos on the day of independence is act of enemies of Pakistan whether Imran Khan wants to follow enemies of Pakistan by creating chaos on the Independence Day.
If Imran Khan did not apologise to the nation, people would consider him a fascist and enemy of the Constitution.
He said till the time Imran Khan did not deposit Rs 380 million in the account of Shaukat Khanum Trust, his honesty would remain questionable.
If Imran Khan would not deposit this amount, he would knock the door of court after Eid-ul-Fitr, he added.
He advised Imran Khan to shun his present ways and utilise his energies for Internally Displaced Persons and for the service of people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP).
It is right of the people of KP he should be present in the camps on Sehari and Iftar and spend his days and nights on the streets and roads and villages to improve performance and start new projects in KP as was done by other provinces.
Referring to the insulting campaign of Imran Khan about election tribunals, Farooq said election tribunals decided 301 petitions out of the total 401 by May 31.
Thirty-seven of the 58 petitions filed by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf have been decided and only 21 were remaining while 38 of the 66 petitions of
PML-N were decided while 28 were remaining, which meant more petitions of PML-N were still undecided.
Has Imran Khan fulfilled promise of eradicating corruption from KP in 90 days and arrested 100 crocodiles of corruption, he asked.
He said Imran Khan levelled allegation of 35 punctures and made claim he has a cassette of an ambassador, now he should let the nation hear this cassette. Now he should tell name of that brigadier as well, he added.
Farooq said fissures have been emerged among PTI members over dictatorial attitude of Imran Khan.
He said Imran Khan was using indecent language against former Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry. This was the same Iftikhar Chaudhry who omitted 45 million votes from electoral lists on the writ petition of Imran Khan, adding the Chief Justice ousted a prime minister on the charge of contempt of court. Former chief justice put minister for Religious Affairs Hamid Saeed Kazmi behind the bars.
He said through various statements of Imran Khan, it has been learnt the PTI leader was not in favour of North Waziristan Operation (Zarb-e-Azb), rather he was against this operation.
Imran Khan wanted to negotiate with the terrorists who killed more than 60,000 innocent Muslims, wanted to destroy atomic installations and fled from negotiating table, he added.
Imran was facing failure and decline in KP because the PTI government in the province has failed to fulfill its pre-election commitments including eradicating corruption and restoring law and order.
Answering the question of Imran Khan about 6.8 million votes received by the PML-N during 2008 elections and double votes of 14.5 million during 2013, ul Farooq said PTI bagged 150,000 votes during 2002 elections across the country, then how it got 50 times more votes of 7.5 million during 2013 elections.
He said former dictator Pervaiz Musharraf disqualified Nawaz Sharif and Shahbaz Sharif through his controlled judiciary and committed worst pre poll rigging with the help of administration, agencies, Pervaiz Elahi and Shujaat Hussain.
He said on the advice of Pervaiz Musharraf former Army chief general (retd) Pervaiz Kayani refused to change the election results.
If Pervaiz Kayani had obeyed the advice of Pervaiz Musharraf, Chaudhry brothers could get two third majority.
PML-N governments at central and provincial level, set up metro bus project, education endowment fund, Ashyana Housing scheme, Danish School, Yellow Cab and Green Tractor Schemes, establishment of medical colleges, free provision of 250 medicines at hospitals’ emergency and introduction of 4,000 Information Technology laboratories.
