Pakistan asked to raise Israeli terrorism at world level

LAHORE - Lahore High Court Bar Association (LHCBA) President Shafqat Mehmood Chohan has demanded the government to raise the issue of Israeli terrorism on Palestinian citizens at International forums.
Addressing a press conference along other bar office-bearers here on Friday, he said that Israeli terrorism on innocent Palestinians could not be tolerated and the government should raise the issue on international forums and also practically help Palestinian brothers.
He said that thumb impressions of lawyers would be obtained and the bio-metric system would be made functional in LHCBA by mid-September. He said that few bar employees with help of machines would register 21,000 lawyers within one and a half month.
Shafqat said that no lawyer would be registered without his original identity card to ensure the success of the system. He said that if the Election Commission and political parties introduced the biometric system in general elections, it would ensure elimination of rigging.
