We will pull Pakistan out of darkness: minister
Mashhood calls protests favourite hobby of PTI

LAHORE – Punjab Minister for Law and Education Rana Mashhood on Sunday said that the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) should review its performance before staging any kind of protest.

Reacting to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Pervaiz Khattak's announcement of the protest over power outages on July 16, the Punjab minister said that the staging protests and demonstrations were PTI's favourite hobby.

"Which projects can PTI claim to have launched in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (where it has its own government),” the minister questioned, adding that the people have become fed up with the PTI's over indulgence in politics of agitation.

He said work on a number of power projects was currently underway which would be completed soon. "God willing, we will pull Pakistan out of the darkness," he added. He vowed to continue serving the people and taking steps for the progress of Pakistan by giving no regard to the PTI's politics of opposition.
