PM Nawaz inaugurates two road projects in Chakwal

 

CHAKWAL: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif inaugurated two double-way road projects—Mandra-Chakwal and Sohawa-Chakwal during his short visit on Wednesday here.

Addressing the inaugural ceremony, the prime minister said that when he came to power, the treasury was empty and he inherited myriad problems. The prime stressed that his government rose to the occasion and focused on almost all the issues and challenges undaunted. He said it would take time to overcome problems.

Nawaz sharif said the previous governments did nothing for resolving the energy crisis, which with the time aggravated and now the energy issued had been take up sincerely. He said a day would soon come when the availability of electricity would be abundant and also cheap in the country.

The premier without naming Sheikh Rashid said he had retracted from his promise to resign in case the dollar became cheaper. He added that this person was now asking for resignations from the government over his failures.

The prime minister emphasised that Pakistan would be successful in the war against terrorism and the country would be rid of all crime.
