Construction banned around Peshawar airport

PESHAWAR: Peshawar Deputy Commissioner Tuesday imposed a ban on all construction activities for the next two months around Bacha Khan International Airport. A notification issued here said that under the section 144 the constructor would have to obtain clearance from the SDPO and the Security Branch for executing any kind of temporary or permanent construction in the surroundings of the airport. Furthermore, the residents of various localities around Bacha Khan Airport were advised to inform their nearest police station about their guests whose names were not entered in the survey forms to avoid embarrassment and legal action.
