Contempt pleas against Imran in SC and IHC

ISLAMABAD: Contempt of court petitions have been filed in the Supreme Court and the Islamabad High Court against Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan.
The petition in SC was filed by Islamabad District Bar President Naseer Kayani on Thursday. It states that Imran Khan has been targeting the judiciary during his speeches and interviews, and that undue criticism of the judiciary constitutes contempt of court. The petitioner also said that Imran Khan had been using critical and derogatory remarks against the judges.
