Tremors in parts of KP, Punjab, Islamabad

PESHAWAR/ISLAMABAD: Tremors were felt in several parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Punjab and Islamabad on Saturday. The epicentre of the 5.4 magnitude earthquake was in the Hindu Kush mountain range and 60 kilometers was the measured depth. According to the meteorological department, there were no immediate reports of damage or casualties. The tremors were felt in Peshawar, Lower Dir, Shangla, Takht Bai, Malakand, Swat and the adjoining areas.
