Pilot circumnavigating globe for charity crashes off US coast

 

HAWAII: Seventeen-year old Pakistani-American Harris Sulaiman who was circumnavigating the globe in a single engine turbo-prop to raise funds for charity met with an accident off the US coast.

According to sources, Harris’ was on his final leg of the journey and took off from Hawaii for California when the aircraft crashed in the sea.

Speaking to Geo News, Harris’ aunt confirmed that the plane had crashed adding that the family had been informed by the US coast guard.

Harris was accompanied by his father on their mission to circumvent the globe to raise funds for charity and visited Karachi as well earlier this month.
