Balochistan’s dream of peace to become reality soon: governor

QUETTA: Balochistan Governor Muhammad Khan Achakzai has said on Sunday that the situation in the province is improving day by day, which would soon bring prosperity and development in the region. Addressing on conclusion of the T-20 session at the Nawab Akbar Bugti Stadium, he extended congratulations to the security agencies for making the dream of peace a reality in Balochistan. He said that although the people of Balochistan are backward yet they are patriotic, adding that youngsters have rendered sacrifices for the integrity of Pakistan and they would continue to do so. Speaking on the occasion, Commander Southern Command Lieutenant General Nasir Janjua said that the people who have left the country for the sake of dollars are alluring the youngsters in the name of independence and creating disturbance. He said that the number of people participating in the cricket tournament speaks volumes about the peace-loving nature of the people of Balochistan. He said that the people who left this country are living their own luxurious lives abroad and misguiding the youth in Balochistan. He said that the ones who dance on the tunes of enemy have become thirsty of the blood of their countrymen. Janjua said the country which came into existence in the name of Islam cannot be weakened, adding that he challenges such people living abroad to live a week with the poor masses to prove themselves leaders. “The youth in Balochistan are the pillars of the country. The daughters of Balochistan are also patriotic and have the guts to make the impossible, possible,” he added. Janjua termed the concluding session of the T-20 as a historic day, adding that Pakistani nation is ready to face every challenge.
