Nawaz to meet Modi on July 9 in Ufa: Indian media
OSLO: A meeting between Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif and his Indian counterpart Narendra Modi is expected to take place on July 10 on the sidelines of Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) summit, Indian media reported.
The SCO summit and the meeting between the two premiers will take place in Ufa.
India and Pakistan are not the members of SCO, however, the two PMs are attending the summit as observers.
According to details, PM Nawaz Sharif has said the induction of Pakistan as the member of SCO will pave the way for better relations with New Delhi.
In an interview with Russain news agency a day earlier, PM Nawaz Sharif said the SCO will provide India and Pakistan a common platform allowing both the countries to work together and help improve bilateral ties.Courtesy www.thenews.com.pk
