DG Rangers Punjab visits Working Boundary, briefed on Indian firing

LAHORE: DG Rangers Punjab Major General Umer Farooq visited the Working Boundary on the first day of Eid-ul-Fitr.

During his visit the DG Rangers Punjab was briefed on the recent ceasefire violations by India.

On Friday, the Pakistan Army has lodged a protest with United Nations (UN) observers over Indian ceasefire violations.

An ISPR statement called for the UN observers to probe the Indian ceasefire violations and provocation. It added that the Indian army had targeted civilian areas with heavy machine guns and mortar shells.
