Altaf sacks MQM’s Karachi Coordination Committee

LONDON: Mutthaida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Chief Altaf Hussain sacked the party’s Karachi Coordination Committee on Saturday.

On a statement issued on the party’s website Altaf Hussain sacked the committee for not discharging their responsibilities despite repeated assurances and promises. Altaf said a decision about the London’s Coordination Committee would be announce in a day or two.

Altaf Hussain has asked senior workers belonging to zones and sectors, who consider themselves eligible for discharging responsibilities of the Coordination Committee, to submit their mobile numbers and home telephone numbers at Nine Zero.

According to the statement a new committee will be formed after interviewing these senior members.

Kahfilwara, Abdul Haseeb and Arif Khan Advocate from the previous committee have been retained as members.

The sacked members of the Coordination Committee have been asked not to come to Nine Zero.
