Bilawal directs party MPs to join flood-relief work

KARACHI: Pakistan Peoples Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has directed party’s elected representatives, especially those from flood-prone areas, to actively participate in the relief efforts to mitigate sufferings of people in case flood hit their areas.

Bilawal issued these directives while getting a briefing over video link from the elected representatives of Larkana and Sukkur Divisions about the measures being taken to meet any emergency situation arising out from the floods, the party source said on Saturday.

The briefing, which was held at the Bilawal House, was also attended by Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah, Senator Sherry Rehman, Senior Minister for Information and Irrigation Nisar Ahmed Khuhro, Local Government Minister Nasir Shah, Finance Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah, Health Minister Jam Mehtab Dahar, Jam Khan Shoro, Mukesh Chawla and others.
