Pakistani diplomats, families safe in Dhaka: Foreign Office
ISLAMABAD: Foreign Office says all Pakistani diplomats and their families in Dhaka are safe.
In a statement, Foreign Office Spokesperson Nafees Zakaria said Pakistani diplomatic staff has restricted their movement following the attack.
"We have confirmed that there is no Pakistan national among the hostages", he said.
The gunmen attacked the Holey Artisan restaurant in the Gulshan district of Dhaka, popular with expatriates, in an assault that began around 9 p.m. local time on Friday.
Italian and Indian nationals were among the hostages.
