U.S. delegation lauds Pak army for clearing N. Waziristan from militants
RAWALPINDI: According to a statement by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) on Sunday, the American delegation led by senator John McCain praised Pakistan Army's efforts in clearing North Waziristan.
According to the ISPR, the American delegation was led by senator John McCain during their visit to North Waziristan. The American delegation was also briefed in detail by officers of the Pakistan Army regarding the operation that was conducted in Miranshah.
The delegation also visited and inspected the destroyed hideouts of the militants. They also toured the area that was cleared from militants by Pakistan Army.
On clearing North Waiziristan from militants and driving the terrorists out, the American delegation praised efforts of Pakistan Army and the successes achieved from operation Zarb-e-Azb, according to the ISPR.
The American delegation also praised efforts of Pakistan Army of rehabilitating displaced persons.
