Bilawal pays rich tribute to Zulfikar Ali Bhutto

KARACHI: Chairman Pakistan People’s Party (PPP), Bilawal Bhutto Zardari paid rich tributes to Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutti, first directly-elected Prime Minister of Pakistan, on the day he was ousted through a coup on July 05, 1977.

PPP Chairman said that we are observing Black Day because the people of Pakistan were deprived of their genuine and patriot leadership through power and the people craving for democracy and equality were subjected to inhuman lashes, imprisonment and hangings by dictatorial regime.

“Today, we remember all those who sacrificed their happinesses, well-being and personal lives for the cause of democracy as their leader Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto walked to the gallows with his head high and in pride only to be followed by his followers,” he added.

Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said that PPP is heir to all the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for Pakistan, its security and democracy and entire nation inherits the glowing past of the leadership and the people of this country without accepting any propaganda against the democratic forces of our nation.
