President Mamnoon meets armed forces chiefs at Aiwan-e-Sadr
ISLAMABAD: President Mamnoon Hussain held a meeting on the occasion of Eid at Aiwan-e-Sadr with General Raheel Sharif and other heads of armed forces.
President Mamnoon met with Naval Chief Zakaullah and Air Chief Marshal Sohail Aman, apart from meeting Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif as well.
All three chiefs and the president exchanged greetings on the occasion of Eid. During the meeting, Mamnoon Hussain said that the whole nation was standing shoulder to shoulder with the jawans of Pakistan army.
He also wished those soldiers and jawans of the army who were on duty at the front lines.
Meanwhile Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif is in London where he is convalescing after an open heart surgery which took place a last month. The Premier is expected to return to the country sometime later this month and resume his duties as usual.
